The Bucks County Children and Youth Agency must be held accountable. Stand up and fight for your children. You have a right to a hearing at every stage of the children and youth hearings. Most parents do not realize, you do not have any chance of taking your child home after a hearing unless you ask for a full hearing. The more parents ask for a full hearing the more accountable the agency will become. Do not allow the agency to be a Gestapo. Do not let Bucks County stay status quo as A County who does not want to help.
The courts have stated:

A family is an institution which preceded governments. Its sanctity was universally recognized before judges or statutes or constitutions or welfare organizations were known to man. The right of a child to a [parent] and a [parent] to a child are rights created by natural law. They are rights attributable to the nature of mankind rather than to the enactments of law.

It is a serious matter for the long arm of the state to reach into a home and snatch a child from its [parent]. It is a power which a government dedicated [**23]to freedom for the individual should exercise with extreme care, and only where the evidence clearly establishes its necessity. In re Rinker, 180 Pa. YOU AS PARENTS HAVE A RIGHT TO A HEARING DEMAND IT AT EVERY STAGE! Maybe then the Courts will take note as to what is really happening in this County. Maybe the children’s best interest will be looked after. Maybe then Bucks County Children and Youth will stop punishing parents and the children and instead help families. Maybe then children will be able to see their parents more then every two weeks for one hour supervised by the social worker who ripped the children out of your arms.
Stand up and fight for your children. Do not blindly follow what you are told to do unless you agree that you need help.
If you need the help you have the right to ask the Judge to have the County pay for services.

Thanks Kristy....they never addressed the issue of the children living with me, another violation and broken law. A blood relative is supped to come before foster care.....it's almost 10 months, the children are emotionally damaged, but kids are still be found dead in crack houses AFTER THE Agency was told...I don't get it.

Paul, when you asked the Hitler Youth why you couldn't have them what did they say? My mother talked to our caseworker and my mother told her that if anything was going to happen to the children to call her immediately and she would be on the first plane out. Then when my mother called her after they were taken away Elsa Petersen, our case worker said, "It's too late and I never said that." I've got the same paperwork full of lie after lie after lie. Anyways let me know. I have court on Monday August 18 and I'm bringing my mother with me. I'll post my experience after this.
